DB Manager
Manage and edit your server databases directly from the Reviactyl panel.
DB Manager provides a built-in database management interface for your servers, allowing users to browse databases, manage tables, edit rows, search data, and import databases without leaving the panel.

Installation
1. Create the extension package
From inside the DB Manager extension folder, run:
zip -r ../db-manager.rext .
This will create:
db-manager.rext
2. Upload the extension
Move the generated .rext file to your Reviactyl installation directory.
Example:
mv ../db-manager.rext /var/www/reviactyl/
3. Install the extension
Go to your Reviactyl installation directory:
cd /var/www/reviactyl
Install the extension:
php artisan extension:install db-manager
4. Enable the extension
php artisan extension:enable db-manager
5. Clear caches
php artisan optimize:clear
Updating
When updating DB Manager, disable the extension first:
php artisan extension:disable db-manager
Install or replace the new extension files, then enable it again:
php artisan extension:enable db-manager
php artisan optimize:clear
Configuration
After installation, DB Manager can be configured through:
Admin Panel → Settings → Extensions → DB Manager
Available options include:
Restricting DB Manager to specific servers
Restricting access based on server eggs
Enabling or disabling SQL imports
Enabling or disabling external MySQL imports
Customising user-facing text
Security
DB Manager only allows access to databases assigned to the current server and user.
Database credentials are retrieved through the panel's existing database system and are not permanently stored by the extension.
Table and column identifiers are validated before being used in queries, while database values are handled using parameterized queries.
